With my determination, hard work, creativity, and artistic talent I can create a finished
product that will blow you away.
Now that I have caught your attention let me introduce myself.....My name is Nicole
Gordon and have been an artist ever since I was caught at the age of five on my tip toes
drawing....what I thought to be pretty pictures on my bedroom wall, but unfortunately my mother
had a problem with the medium that I had taken such a liking to. She quickly bought me a big
box of crayons and a big drawing pad...... after that I was enthralled 100% with art. That is
when I realized what I wanted to be when I grew up.

Now at the age of twenty-four I am a graduate of Computer Animation and am looking to
show the world what I can do. I have been in art classes since kindergarten and on through to
college.
I had spent four years at Georgia State University working towards a graphic design degree.
During this time I was given the opportunity to move to Texas and go to The Art Institute Of
Houston. This is where I finished up my degree in computer animation. It was very historical
because I graduated with the very first class coming out of The Art Institute Of Houston
in animation.
It was an opportunity and an experience of a life time.

I graduated from The Art Institute Of Houston with a 3.9, earned four scholarships
and graduated with honors.That in it self should express the kind of dedication, hard
work and creative talent that I have.
When I first graduated back in June my first thought was that I would
get a full-time job, but when I talked with people in my industry I found that freelancing held
more opportunities.

After thorough research I found that freelancing offers more diverse projects and allows me
to interact more one on one with different clienteles. It allows me to build a wide range of
animations for my professional demo reel and in the process further my learning capabilities.
I am currently based in Houston Texas and am putting no limits on which states I will freelance
in and which I will not. With Internet I feel that I can handle assignments from just about
anywhere.
I want to be open minded with what people are needing and looking for.
My main philosophy is "Give me a chance and I can do it.....Give me the opportunity and
I will learn it"
