Nan Pao has over 20 years' experience in growing Spirulina. This is a very high nutrient, blue-green algae, not the common green algae. It is grown in their own cultivation pools where temperature and moisture are tightly controlled to keep its quality at a constant level. (Spirulina grown in wild pools may be cheaper, but its quality varies greatly and it is generally more unstable.) Their product is of constant high quality and is priced to reflect that quality.
