Five centers in the Dayton area are now open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily for COVID-19 PCR testing, treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses

DAYTON, OH: WellNow Urgent Care, one of the country’s fastest-growing urgent care providers, announced that beginning Friday, October 1, 2021, five centers in the Dayton area (formerly Hometown Urgent Care centers) will extend their hours of operation to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, to better serve local communities. Patients can simply walk into their nearest center or, if preferred, schedule a visit online to receive care for non-life-threatening ailments and COVID-19 PCR testing.

The new extended hours apply to the following WellNow Urgent Care locations:

  • Clayton – 7709 Hoke Rd., Clayton, OH 45315

  • Huber Heights – 6210 Brandt Pike, Huber Heights, OH 45424

  • Sidney – 1540 Michigan St., Sidney, OH 45365

  • Troy – 1430 W. Main St., Troy, OH 45373

  • Xenia – 101 S. Orange St., Xenia, OH 45385

“As most of us have experienced, injuries and illnesses show up at the most inconvenient times,” said John Radford, M.D., President at WellNow Urgent Care. “We want to make it easy for our patients to receive the care they need, when they need it, so they can get back to their lives instead of waiting in an emergency room for hours or delaying treatment.”

WellNow provides timely, convenient care for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses such as sprains, burns, colds and allergies, as well as on-site X-rays, lab testing and physicals. Occupational Medicine services, including Workers’ Compensation assistance, pre-employment physicals, drug and alcohol testing, respirator fit exams and more, are also available on a walk-in basis within the new extended hours.

COVID-19 PCR testing is also available at all WellNow Urgent Care locations. Currently, more than 99 percent of COVID-19 PCR tests collected at WellNow centers in the Dayton area, by their specified testing times, will return results within 24 hours. The remaining PCR results will be returned within 48 hours. Patients can visit PCR-results to view testing times to receive next-day results. Additional information about COVID-19 testing at WellNow Urgent Care, including testing cost and insurance coverage, can be found at COVID-19.

Patients who prefer to speak with a WellNow provider virtually, either from the comfort of home or on-the-go, can access the company’s Virtual Care platform seven days a week from a personal computer or smartphone. WellNow accepts most insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, Fidelis and Veterans Affairs TriWest.
