COVID-19 PCR testing is available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

LIVERPOOL, NY – WellNow Urgent Care, one of the country’s fastest-growing urgent care providers, announced that in response to increased demand for COVID-19 testing in the region, its center in Liverpool (Oswego Rd.) is now offering a drive-through option for asymptomatic patients in need of a COVID-19 PCR test. Located at 7375 Oswego Road, Liverpool, NY 13090, the drive-through is open seven days a week during the center’s regular hours, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Asymptomatic patients are encouraged to schedule their visit and complete pre-registration online and then drive up to be tested in minutes from the comfort of their car.

Samples are sent directly to WellNow’s PCR lab, which processes COVID-19 tests 24 hours a day to ensure patients receive their results quickly. Currently, 99 percent of COVID-19 PCR tests collected at WellNow’s Liverpool center return results within 24 hours and the rest return results within 48 hours. Additional information about COVID-19 testing at WellNow Urgent Care, including testing cost and insurance coverage, can be found at COVID-19.

“Our team continues to add to our robust testing services and remains committed to delivering the care and services most needed in our communities, whether that means temporarily repurposing some of our centers to serve as dedicated COVID-19 testing facilities or opening our own PCR lab to deliver results even faster,” said John Radford, M.D., President at WellNow Urgent Care. “We understand the urgent need for more testing and faster results and our goal is to make the process as easy and convenient for our patients as possible.”

In addition to the new drive-through COVID-19 testing site at Liverpool, WellNow has temporarily repurposed several of its Syracuse-area locations to serve as testing-only sites for asymptomatic patients, including Clay, Fulton, and Syracuse. Patients seeking regular urgent care or occupational medicine services, as well as those experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, should proceed inside the Liverpool (Oswego Rd.) center to be seen by a provider. Other full-service WellNow Urgent Care centers in the area include CamillusCiceroDeWitt  and Fayetteville.

Urgent care services are provided on a walk-in basis, or patients may also visit WellNow.com to schedule a same-day visit. Patients who prefer to speak with a WellNow provider virtually, either from the comfort of home or on-the-go, can access the company’s Virtual Care platform 24/7 from their personal computer, tablet or smartphone. WellNow accepts most insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, Fidelis and Veterans Affairs TriWest. A full list of locations and services can be found at WellNow.com.
